TextTown Privacy Policy

Information Collection and Use

TextTown is the sole owner of the information collected through our service. We do not collect personally identifying information about users except when you specifically and knowingly provide it. We use customer contact information to send requested information and provide our services.

For the pilot project known as TextTown: Voting & the 2024 Election, ManyChat is used as the texting platform that allows us to deliver on-demand information with minimal barriers and at no cost to the end user.

We never sell, share, rent or trade any of our user information with other entities.

Data Security

We take data security seriously. Any sensitive information you submit to TextTown is protected both online and offline.

Your Rights and Control

You may opt-out of future contacts from us at any time by texting STOP to our service number. Standard messaging rates apply.

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. To exercise these rights, please contact us at daniel@text.town.

At Manychat, Inc. (“Manychat”, “we, us”) we consider the privacy and the security of personal data to be extremely important.

We process personal data for (1) our own purposes and (2) under instructions of our customers who use Manychat service (“Service”), upload and keep certain information in it. In the second case, we strictly adhere to customers’ instructions and do not use data for any other purposes than providing the Service (see details in Data Processing Addendum).
